Buffalo Sloppy Joes Crockpot Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 2 lbs. of ground beef
* 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
* 6 stalks of celery, thinly sliced
* 1 can of organic tomato sauce (8 oz.)
* 1 can of organic tomato paste (6 oz.)
* 1/2 cup of Buffalo wing sauce
* 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
* 2 teaspoons of chili powder
* 18 hamburger buns, split, toasted

Ingredients needed for Blue Cheese Sauce

* 1 container of sour cream (8 oz.)
* 2/3 cup of crumbled blue cheese
* 1 green onion, finely chopped
* 2 teaspoons of Buffalo wing sauce

Preparation steps:

* Spray crockpot with cooking spray. In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain. Spoon beef mixture into crockpot. Add remaining sloppy joe ingredients except buns; stir well.
* Cover and cook on low for 3 1/2 hours.
* In a small bowl, mix sauce ingredients.
* To serve, spoon 1/3 cup of sloppy joe mixture on bottom half of each bun. Spread 1 tablespoon of sauce on top half of each bun; place over meat.
